Hi, I’m Kimberly Benoit.

Maybe you are a seasoned leader struggling with your team. Maybe you are a new leader who feels lost. Or maybe you just want to feel better about how you’re showing up everyday. Wherever you are, having the right support makes all the difference.

With my 20+ years of corporate experience, we can get to the root of whatever is challenging you and create a plan to get you on track to a well-rounded, engaged leadership approach.

A little about me

I've spent my whole career asking one question in a lot of different rooms: why do people actually do what they do — and what would get them to do something different?

I started out investigating it directly. Later, I trained as a therapist, because I wanted to understand motivation more deeply — not just what people did, but why, without jumping to conclusions about it. That habit stuck: really listening, taking in what's said and what isn't — body language, actions, the things people don't put into words — to see the bigger picture faster.

That same question followed me into corporate work. At Target, I was part of an innovation team solving safety, theft, and fraud problems by understanding what actually drove the behavior, not just adding more rules. Later, I led strategic and market planning at a multistate health system — and eventually built and led their internal leadership institute, teaching leaders that same question for years.

Eventually, I wanted to apply it more directly — one leader, one organization, at a time. That's what led me to start my own practice.

So when you work with me, whether it's a strategic problem, an operational one, or a leadership challenge, you're not getting three different specialties. You're getting the same instinct, applied wherever the real issue turns out to live: ask without assuming, listen for what's underneath, and build a plan that's actually realistic to execute — not a framework you have to figure out how to apply yourself.

I'm a PMP, an ICF Associate Certified Coach, and hold two master's degrees. I'm the host of the We've All Done It podcast and author of the book by the same name. I've taught leadership development for over 100 hours as internal faculty, coached 100+ leaders directly, and spent 20+ years working across industries — from small businesses to organizations like Target.

I live in Vienna, VA, with my cat, Ruby. When I'm not working, I'm probably at the library, cooking something Cajun, reading, or on a tennis court.
